Return Policy
Refresh Computers offers a 14-day return policy for all purchases, starting from the date the product is picked up from the store or delivered on-site by the shipping provider.
There is a 10% or $40 restocking fee (whichever is higher) for all desktop, laptop, and tablet computers returned for a refund. This restocking fee covers our labor costs of wiping and restoring the machine to its original condition. There is also a $10 restocking fee for monitors. There are no restocking fees on our other products, such as accessories and cables.
Returns require that all original accessories be included (i.e. software discs, charging cables, packaging) and that the product be returned in the original, undamaged condition. A refund may be denied if the product is damaged or missing parts.
Labor charges and service plans are not refundable. Standalone software products such as Microsoft Office can not be returned once opened.
To return a product, you can either bring it to a Refresh Computers store or request a return authorization and shipping instructions by calling 407-478-8200 or emailing [email protected]. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. All refunds are processed within 1-2 business days once the product is received and inspected by Refresh Computers, there may be a processing delay when the refund is credited to your account, depending on your financial institution.
Warranty
Refresh Computers provides a standard 90-day hardware warranty on all products. Refresh Computers also offers one-, two-, and three-year extended warranty coverage for computers and tablets, and a one-year extended warranty option for monitors, all in addition to the standard 90-day warranty. You may choose to add an extended warranty within 14 days of the purchase.
The extended warranty prices are:
- For Windows desktops and laptops or Apple Mac Mini $499.98 or less: 1 year $39.99, 2 years $59.99, 3 years $89.99
- For Windows desktops and laptops or Apple Mac Mini $499.99-$999.98: 1 year $59.99, 2 years $99.99, 3 years $139.99
- For Windows desktops and laptops or Apple Mac Mini $999.99-$1999.98: 1 year $149.99, 2 years $219.99, 3 years $139.99
- For Windows desktops and laptops or Apple Mac Mini $1999.99-$2999.98: 1 year $199.99, 2 years $269.99, 3 years $369.99
- For Windows desktops and laptops or Apple Mac Mini $2999.99 and higher: 1 year $299.99, 2 years $419.99, 3 years $649.99
- For Apple MacBook or iMac computers: 1 year $199.99, 2 years $349.99, 3 years $519.99
- For LCD monitors: 1 year $19.99
The Refresh Computers warranty is an in-house warranty, meaning we are your direct source in the unlikely event you have any issues.
If there is a problem with your computer that is determined to be caused by a hardware issue during the warranty period, Refresh Computers technicians will perform the necessary repair to restore the unit to proper functionality, or if deemed irreparable, replace the unit with an equivalent or better specification model at no charge to you. The decision to repair or replace the computer will be at Refresh Computers’ sole discretion.
Computer hardware components covered under the warranty include:
- Hard Drive
- Memory
- Processor
- Motherboard
- Power Supply/Power Adapter
- Laptop Battery (guaranteed to hold a minimum of 1 hour charge)
- Laptop Screen
While we do our best to expedite warranty repairs, the turnaround time may be subject to part availability. Refresh Computers does not provide loaner machines.
The Refresh Computers warranty does not cover either accidental damage nor software issues (i.e. viruses). Physical damage, such as from a fall, liquid spill, or abuse, will void the warranty, and no pro-rata refund will be given.
Extended warranties are not refundable, except if the product it was purchased for is also being returned within 14 days of the sale.
