When a Mac’s logic board fails, many repair shops and service centers replace the entire board, which is expensive. Our board-level specialist diagnoses the fault down to the individual component and repairs it on the board. That’s often far less expensive, and it can save Macs other shops have called beyond repair. You get the specialist’s findings and a quote, and nothing is done without your approval.

2. Free diagnosis. If the problem is on the logic board, we check your Mac in for an advanced diagnostic with our board-level specialist.
3. Approve the quote. The specialist explains the findings and the price before any work begins.
4. Repair and pickup. Track progress on our repair status page.

How Long Will it Take?

Usually done the same day:

• Virus and malware removal
• Optimization (tune-up)
• MacOS reinstall
• Data transfer and basic data recovery attempts
• Email setup
• RAM or SSD upgrades, when the part is in stock (most of the time)

Usually 3 to 5 business days:

• Screen replacements, while we order the exact panel for your model
• Battery replacements for less common models
• Board-level repairs (motherboard and charging jack)
• Any repair that needs a special-order part
• We’ll give you a specific estimate at check-in, based on what’s wrong and whether we have the part.

Our 90-day Repair Warranty

Every repair we perform is backed by a 90-day warranty on the parts we install and the labor we perform, starting the day you pick up your computer. If the same problem comes back within 90 days, bring it in and we’ll fix it at no charge.

Covered: any part we installed or replaced, and the specific problem we were hired to fix.

Not covered: a different, unrelated problem that appears later; accidental, liquid or physical damage after pickup; and software problems such as viruses, unless the repair itself was a software repair.

Your Data, Protected

Before any repair that could put your files at risk, we back up your data at no charge to our secure in-house server. For simple part replacements that don’t touch your stored data, such as a keyboard, screen or battery, no backup is needed.
