Mail-In Computer and Laptop Repair
Can’t make it to our Longwood store? Ship your laptop or desktop to us. You get the same free diagnosis, upfront quote, repair rates and 90-day warranty as customers who walk in.
How it works
- Contact us first. Call 407-478-8200 or email [email protected] and describe the problem. We’ll give you a repair estimate and our shipping address.
- Ship your computer. Pack it securely, in the original box if you have it, and send it with tracking and insurance. We recommend FedEx or UPS.
- Free diagnosis and firm quote. When it arrives, we diagnose it for free and call or email you with a firm quote. Nothing is done without your approval.
- Repair, pay and ship back. After you approve, we repair it. We send you a secure payment link by email, or you can pay by phone. We then ship it back insured, with tracking.
What it costs
Mail-in repairs cost the same as our in-store rates, plus shipping both ways. You pay to send the computer to us, and we add return shipping to your invoice. Return shipping applies even if you decide not to go ahead with the repair after the diagnosis.
What we accept
Laptops and desktop computers, including Macs. We don’t accept all-in-one computers or monitors by mail. Bring those to our store, or book an on-site visit if you’re in Central Florida.
Packing checklist
- Put a note in the box with your name, phone number, email and a short description of the problem.
- Include the power adapter if the problem involves charging or power.
- Remove discs, USB drives and any accessories you don’t need back.
- Pad the computer so it can’t move inside the box.
- Keep your tracking number until we confirm it arrived.
How long it takes
Most repairs take 3 to 5 business days after your computer arrives, plus shipping time in each direction. Simple jobs such as virus removal or a tune-up are often finished the same day we receive it.
Your data and warranty
Mail-in repairs get the same protection as in-store repairs: a free backup before any repair that could affect your files, and a 90-day warranty on parts and labor, starting the day your computer is delivered back to you.
Frequently asked questions
Do I pay shipping if I don’t approve the repair? Yes. Shipping both ways is your responsibility, including return shipping when you decline the repair after the free diagnosis.
How do I pay? We email you a secure payment link, or you can pay by phone at 407-478-8200. We ship your computer back once payment is complete.
Can I mail in an all-in-one or a monitor? No. All-in-ones and monitors need to come to our Longwood store or be serviced on-site.
